Helping Friends make computer need help!

So im helping my friends make a computer and we finished wiring everything. we tryed to turn on the computer but the screen showed nothing... we did hear a bang the first time we turned it on and smelled some smoke, the next time we turned it on nothing happened, no bang, no smoke. is this a discharge or is it some other problem? If it is discharge what can we do if not what can we do?

Hi illway, by the sounds of things , you wired something incorrectly , chances are you may be lucky and only the fuse in the psu as blown before any major damage has been done,
recheck all the wiring and connections ,make sure everything is in its right orientation
