Turn off lights.

Does anyone know how to turn off the lights of my notebook..?

I mean the Caps. Lock/Num Lock/Charger/Network lights.
I'm on Vista btw.

I'm not sure there is any way to turn off a notebook's indicator lights ... I'm curious as to why you'd want to?

Well, I want to leave my PC overnight since I'm downloading something, but my mom always gets pissed when I do.

I take it that you are downloading something important at night.
Isn't there anything in control panel for such an item under screen display?

Yeah.

And there isn't anything under screen display :S.

I can turn off the lights of the screen and close my lid, but the lights are visible.

Can it wait until morning as to not bother your mother?
After all, she is the one cooking your meals, washing your clothes and probably has a full time job which is demanding as heck.
Just my humble opinion....

Well, yeah it can wait :P.
Will take a while though haha, 25GB, with a crappy 600kb/sec speed.

I uploaded my Music/movies on my online storage drive in-case of anything that could happen, (We moved to another place now, before that I had a great, great connection, so I was able to upload all that in maybe 1.5 nights).

Now we moved over I have a silly connection at around 500/600kb/sec, so downloading that is quite a hassle.

And don't worry, I obtained all those music/movies legally .

And a good week-end to you too Wolf ^^.

Piece of black electrical tape over the lights should solve this issue.
