Why I ask, is that I saw this Ad. on Craiglist, someone selling this Transfer Cable:
Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows 7
This is complete, in the original ziplock, with software and instructions. Retails for $39.99
Item 805645Model F5U279 Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows® 7
•Designed specifically for Windows Easy Transfer utility from Microsoft

You'd need a USB bridge cable:

They don't seem to be readily available (based on not finding them at Newegg).
It might be more practical to use an Ethernet connection. (Two Ethernet cables plus a hub.)
I would not spend money on transfer cables when you can buy a external usb drive for less than fifty bucks. You can then transfer your files to your new pc. And you would have a useful device to use later on for something like back up or simply more storage for data.
