HP Laptop key popped out : (

    Hey guys

I've got a second issue now with my new HP Pavilion dv-7 laptop computer that I bought last week. The first was problem entering sleep mode. Now the second issue is that this morning I was typing on my keyboard and the bottom arrow laptop key popped out, while I pressed on it !

damn, I heard that HP laptops were built to last ! but I thought mine would be fine.

Any ideas how to pop it back in.

Check out the quick video demonstrating what I'm experiencing.

Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually I was able to pop it back into place by pressing on it while it's in place and it seems fine for now.

But I thought HP laptops were top of the line quality ! Why do they have to make everything in China ? why do people who get paid crap money make our stuff ?

your gonna need a Hammer, drill and some nails...

Lets put it this way. You make them in the USA and sell them to the Chinese. A lost cause isn't it!

BTW, who ever told you HP was top of the line was mistaken. My dad actually works at one of the HP productions plants. Not a single piece of hardware they actually use are made by HP. All the computers/servers are IBM or Lenovo, and all the printers are Kodak. Apparently, even HP doesn't have a high opinion of their products.
