    Hiya, i've asked many questions here but i forgot to ask one question which is regarding my old motherboard, I'm giving my Old motherboard to my sister. and she would like to upgrade the graphics card on it. So i ask you today to see if the motherboard is compatible with the graphics card i will purchase. Thanks in advance.

    motherboard: ASUS P5LP-LE
    Graphics card: MSI GTX 460 Cyclone OC Edition 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI Mini HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card.

    That GPU may be a little to much for that board. Also requires 200 watts of extra power. You be better of with some a little less.

    The card will be fine on that board. You won't see it's full potential though due to the slow dual core you currently have, those cards really need a fast quad to get the most out of them.

    Alright. I just need it for regular gaming so, it should be cool. Otherwise i'll just move it into my Main PC, which is;
    SI P55-GD65 iP55 Socket 1156 Gigabit Lan 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
    Intel i5 760 2.8GHz Socket 1156 8MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

    That would be a much better idea than stick it in with the dual core.
