I am new to this forum so please deal with me if this has been an issue before. I built a new HTPC about a week ago using a zotac ionitx motherboard, 2 gbs of ram, and had to use a picopsu 150watt power supply due to space restraints. The first couple of days plugging in an external hard drive was no problem for viewing movies and what not. Then one day i plugged it in and got "error code 43". I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and again and again. Tried different usb ports, tried restarting computer, even tried changing cable, still no luck. I assumed my hard drive just crashed so I went and bought another. First one was WD this was Seagate. Seagate worked for a couple of days, now same thing, Error code 43. Again, multiple restarts and resetting, checking all usb ports, nothing now out of the new Seagate. And today, another problem came about, now my toshiba portable dvd burner with 2 usb connectors (one for power, one for data) is longer showing up as well. Now I do have 3 computers and the new build is what i tried all of these on and then starting have problems with. Now ALL 3 computers can no longer recognize any of the 3 devices, both externals and the portable dvd player. All show error code 43. ANY IDEAS!??! Thanks in advance.
