Ultra ULT40127 USB card not recognized in Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Hello all. I'm trying to get an Ultra ULT40127 PCI USB hub working in Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. The card worked before I upgraded from Vista. When I installed it in the PCI slot and booted into Windows 7, it said absolutely nothing about the new device. There were no drivers installed.
I went through Device Manager, line by line in every category with the PCI card both installed and uninstalled. There is no change whatsoever. No unknown devices, nothing. I ran sfc /scannow and it said everything was fine.
Ultra does not provide drivers for their components. I guess this is the result. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it. The card is this one at the Ultra website:
Ultra ULT40127 5 Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 PCI Card - USB 2.0, 4 External Ports, 1 Internal, Mac & Windows 7 Ready at UltraProducts.com
Thanks in advance.
