    Bluetooth

I just bought a Dell Studio 15 with internal bluetooth, great pc and everything but im having some problems with the Bluetooth.

When i first got the computer the bluetooth was working fine. But later when i went to look for it to transfer some pics to my e71 ... it wasn't there anymore ...

I have tried about everything ... looked in BIOS to see if it was activated, i couldn't find anything ... it wasnt there. I installed windows mobile ... it didnt detect any unrecognized drivers.

Once again ... i have tried almost everything ...

Is there anybody that can maybe give a step by step to diagnose whats going on (if is a hardware or software problem) or have a solution to this problem.

    I really appreciate your help.

have you right clicked the bluetooth icon in the system tray to see if the adapter is visible?
I know, a noobish question, but could be it..

Checked in Services and task scheduler to see if Bluetooth Support Service/task isn't disabled?

What about in Services? Did you check in there to see if Blutooth Support Service is disabled?

What's the status in Services of:

    Bluetooth Support Service
    Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
    RPC Endpoint Mapper
    DCOM Server Process launcher

If they're all set to Automatic and started, not sure what the problem could be if it worked before.

Could run sfc/scannow with an elevated cmd prompt to see if you have any system file corruption that's interfering, but it's a long shot.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Be aware that if you have any third party themes applied to your system, sfc/scannow will get rid of it.
