How to tell if router supports PPTP for VPN connections

Hi there
I need to get a new router -- my service provider has upped the speed and I need a faster Wireless connection than the old 801b/g.

However the Router must also support PPTP so I can connect to some VPN's I use when I'm working away from various sites. It seems that some routers don't support this protocol --giving rise to the infamous Error 619 when you try and connect.
(Some VPN's use IPSEC but there are load out there still using PPTP).

It's no good asking the store people -- just say the word VPN to them and they look at you as if you come from somewhere like the planet ZOG esppecially if you are my size.

Cheers

Thanks Dwarf

You can't try stuff out in the store so that's why I wanted the info BEFORE buying.

You're welcome.

Here's a couple more:

Linksys by Cisco Dual-Band Wireless-N ADSL2+ Modem Gigabit Router WAG320N
Linksys by Cisco Wireless-N ADSL2+ Gateway WAG160N

Both these support VPN Passthrough for IPSec, PPTP, and L2TP Protocols.
