Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter not receiving any signals/not working
My dad bought me a Linksys Wireless-G PCI adapter card (WMP54G) for my desktop computer and installed it into the tower for me. We bought it online and it didn't come with a CD, but I wasn't too concerned since I was just banking on the fact that Windows could find it for me. Using a wireless connection from a Netgear USB wireless adapter I had Windows Vista update the driver. When I removed the Netgear USB adapter, my internet connection obviously went away, but my Linksys PCI adapter didn't pick up any wireless signals. So no network connection in general. I figured I would tackle the problem later and went ahead and upgraded my OS to Windows 7 Ultimate x32 using an internet connection from my USB wireless adapter. After Windows 7 was installed and and all the drivers were updated I tried to see if the PCI adapter worked then but it was still not receiving any signals. I tried uninstalling and re-installing a couple of times now but no change.
From the Device manager the PCI adapter shows up each time and it says the drivers are up to date and that the device is working. I don't know what's causing the problem. The green light by the antenna of the PCI adapter is never on. Can someone help me get on the internet with my device?
Here's the product I'm having issues with.

I'll be happy to provide other information if it'll help.
