    Lost my CMOS battery


    I've lost my CMOS battery for my sisters ASUS A8V-VM SE motherboard. Can i use any old clock battery or could someone tell me what type/ voltage etc.

    CR2032 3VLithium CellCMOS Power

    Hello Danny,

    Your motherboard uses a CR2032 3V Lithium Cell battery.

    ASUS A8V-VM SE motherboard manual:
