    1TB laptop HDD 7200 RPM

I'm looking to spend up to $200 on a new hard drive for my laptop. My laptop can only take one HDD at a time unless I remove my optical drive and being that I play games on this thing, that is not happening. I tend to download a lot and a 500 GB HDD which came with my laptop is just not enough. I do not want a 5200 or 5400 RPM HDD, I want a 7200 RPM.

Newegg does not have what I'm looking for this time.
Being that there are 3TB HDDs for desktops, I'd think that there would exist somewhere a 1 TB 7200 RPM drive.

That 1tb and 7200 rpm combination is the problem, you can get either but not both together currently.

I'll just wait until such a drive is made then. I hope they aren't too far off.

Just a thought sine your looking for better performance in other posts.
Why not when one comes out getting a ssd for your OS and apps you use most of the time and the other as a external drive for storage?

Some one just made that drive. Think it was Samsung or Toshiba.
