Windows 7 - Saitek X45 "Unknown device" when plugging in. Windows 7x64

Hello,

So i do own a Saitek X45 joystick.

Thing is, it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't work.




Situation 1. (day one)


I plug in the controller, everything works great.



Situation 2 (day two)

I plug in the controller and get "uknown device" error. I tried different drivers, software, uninstalling the device in manager. Didn't work.

I googled a bit, some people had similiar problem. I run into a hint with USB.

So the next day, i plugged off my keyboard, mouse and printer. Then i plugged the joystick... It worked.


So i figured, this has to do something with USB recognition or device priorities.



Unfortunately, now it's been a week and the joystick doesn't work. Im tired of switching the cables, devices. It's a 50/50 chance.

Unfortunately it's a bit old and i don't want to mess up something in my system.


My configuration :


Processor : Phenom X2 II 550 BE (3,1 ghz) @ Phenom X4 II B50 (4,1 ghz)
Memory : 2x2GB Patriot LLK 800mhz @ 1150 mhz 5-5-5-15 2.25v
Video Card: EVGA GTX 260 SSC
Motherboard: Asus M4A785-M



Does anyone know something about USB/IRQS?

I have the latest chipset drives and bios...


PS. When i wrote this post the joystick started to work again.
