PC PSU for ADSL modem

Hi, please tell me if the following is possible.

My modem uses a 12V 1200mA AC adapter. Can i use my PC PSU to power this modem from a molex connector using the correct tip?

I need the modem to switch on along with the PC at night. My ISP gives me unlimited transfers from 0200 to 0800. I do not want to leave the modem on as long as im asleep. Socket timers are not available here in India.

PSU is 450W. I can manage the physical part. I just need advice on the electronic compatibility. Thanks in advance.
