hi iam looking at changing my curent hard drive for an ssd
but there is 2 iam looking at iam just wondering if any body has any experience with either

The crucial 256GB would in my opinion be more stable. 6GB/s should mean faster data transfer, games load up faster, Windows would, installing would be faster.
First check if your motherboard is SATA 6Gb/s capable, if not just go with the 3Gb/s SSD.
The Crucial SSD is backwards compatable but you won't gain anything from it.
Check the AnandTec Bench for SSD benchmark comparisons, you can choose any two and compare them side by side.
Crucial would be my choice....in fact it already has been along with this fine Asus adapter solving the Sata and new high speed USB problems as well. ASUS U3S6 PCI Express Expansion Card - 2x USB 3.0, 2x SATA-6G at TigerDirect. Go forward, move ahead, try to detect it, it's not to late !
Well, keep in mind that the "slower" speed of 3.0Gbps equates to about 300MB/sec. So, unless the hard drive in question can go faster than 300MB/sec....you don't need an interface which can support speeds faster than that. In looking at that Crucial drive, I see they list read speeds in excess of 300MB/s...so that might be one of those few SSD's that push that envelope.
It dosent look like your mobo will support 6 GB/sec
If You have a spare PCIe x4, x8, or x16 slot you might look at the OCZ RevoCard (SSD on a PCIe card) - its way much faster than any SATA SSD drive and is comparable in cost and capacity to what you have picked out. You can see it at OCZ RevoDrive PCI-Express SSD OCZ Technology
If you want to stay at sataII 3Gb/s another good option might be the OCZ Vertex2, it uses the same Sandforce controller as the Corsair SSD but has a better optimized firmware and is a bit faster.

Good to remember is that not only the sequential read and write speeds are important but also the random 4k read and write speeds because Windows does a lot of those.
The OCZ Revodrive (2 Sandforce drives in raid0 on a pci-e card) is an interesting and very fast product but it's quit new and I see a lot of people that have problems with getting it working with their motherboard so if you choose this product be sure it will work with your motherboard.
Also good to remember is that Windows Trim function will not work with drives in raid0, so the drives become slower over time.
This can be solved by doing a secure erase and new install of Windows.
Trim is a function that gives information to the SSD when files are deleted and the SSD can mark this space as unused so it can be filled up again with data.
