Windows 7: can i run win 7 on this hardware?

Windows 7 Pro. 64/SP-1

Why would someone want to use Windows 7 without at least minimum requirements? To my way of thinking you will just ruin a persons experience with a great operating system.

Recycling older hardware but using a newer OS for simplicity sake. Some companies might want to recycle older hardware for callcenter terminals and do away with XP in general.
