Hi All, new member here.....Pulling my hair out.....
I have a Nokia N97 device which I have had for over a year and it worked perfectly with Windows 7....However, i have recently rebuilt my pc as a tidy up exercise and now get a driver failure on MTP when the device connects to the PC via USB...
I have hard reset the phone, re-installed the latest phone firmware and software with no change...The phone works perfectly with Windows XP so I am a little confused...
reading various forums and web posts this seems to be quite a common error with all types of media devices....
I uninstalled the driver in Windows 7 & let the the phone re-install but the same error...I can sync contacts, calendars....etc....but music seems to be the problem
I am not really sure how to progress.
Anyone out there have a fix that would save the tears.....
