Windows detected a hard disk problem

Hey, I got a brand new computer, and I noticed it was hanging quite a bit, and that the Windows Installation was a tad slow also

Now, I've just received a pop up saying Windows has detected a hard disk problem

    What should I do?

In the event log, under critical it says

Windows Disk Diagnostic detected a S.M.A.R.T. fault on disk WDC WD5000AAKS-00M9A0 ATA Device (volumes C:\). This disk might fail; back up your computer now. All data on the hard disk, including files, documents, pictures, programs, and settings might be lost if your hard disk fails. To determine if the hard disk needs to be repaired or replaced, contact the manufacturer of your computer. If you can't back up (for example, you have no CDs or other backup media), you should shut down your computer and restart when you have backup media available. In the meantime, do not save any critical files to this disk.

Just received the message again, this time I managed to take a screenshot

Back up all your data you need, and take your new PC to the seller. You should have warranty, and they will replace the HDD.

I have the same problem, but mine is 3 years old.
HDD starting to fail. Need advice.
