Macbook Pro running Win 7 x64 w/ bootcamp

I have a macbook pro running win 7 x64 w/o bootcamp.

I was very surprised that there were only a few things that did not install. That's where I need the forums help.

1. In system devices, it says that performance counters did not install. What are they? and how do I remedy this?

2. There is another entry in system devices that is unknown. I think it is the webcam. Any thoughts on how to remedy this.

3. The speakers are not functioning properly. The mixer shows that sounds is being sent to the speakers, however, there isn't any sound coming out of them.

Besides these few minor things, everything else is working just great.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The speakers are easy to fix, just go to the RealTek website and download the latest drivers for the RealTek HD sound system built into the MB.

If you do not use the web cam then don't worry about it. I do not use mine, nor do I use it on the Mac side, so I never lookrd for a fix. Though you should be able to find a fix by using google/bing to locate the drivers for that particular web cam.

As far as performance counters I can offer you no help there. It would appear that I didn't need them so it is not an issue on my system.

Hope this little bit helps. I think once you get your sound drivers installed you shouldn't have any real problems. Good Luck.
