I cannot get my internet to connect... worked fine before.

    Try that and see if it has a section called Drivers and Applications or something like that. There you will find the original drivers. Find the correct driver and install it. If it works then after you catch your breath you can look for an update and go from there again!

    No luck.

    It is a cd just for the monitor.

    I am not sure why it didn't come with another cd.
    I just got the computer 2 months ago.

    OK, have you opened up the device manager and found the device and had it search for updated driver? That would be the next thing to try. Right click on Computer Left click Manage, Left click Device Manager.

    Just did.

    Says its up to date.

    I restarted computer afterwords and still no internet.

    Control Panel network connections or Network and sharing center if using Windows 7 what does it say and did you try the troubleshooter or the repair procedure. Firewall on, plus is the modem bad any other systems in house that can connect to Internet etc.

    It says, "the realtek pcie fe family controller adapter is experiencing driver or hardware problems."

    Norton firewall is on.

    Modem good, have a laptop connected wirelessly.

    My desktop with the problem is connected with a cable.

    Yeah, that is how I came to find the original error message.

    So far nothing in this thread has worked.
