Thought I'd post a solution to an annoyance that was aggravating me. On my large twin screens I had trouble with fine mouse movement. I'd turn on "Enhance pointer precision" in Mouse Properties and it would help.

But when I would reboot, it would turn off.

Turns out the problem was with Logitech Setpoint. It has its own mouse speed/acceleration settings and doesn't like Windows' settings messing it up. So it resets Windows to default on startup.

The problem was also the solution, for me at least. By using Setpoint to set speed fairly low, but acceleration high, after some tweaking I could get what I wanted: no twitch at low speeds, so I could hit buttons and make fine adjustments -- but the ability to move around the screens quickly at high speeds.
