Windows 7: RAM advice nedeed

Hi lads.
I am building new pc for my cousin and a bit in doubt about RAM.
mobo: GIGABYTE H55-UD3H
cpu: Intel Core I3-530
RAM: Corsair XMS3 DDR3 2x2GB

There are only I5; I7 signs on the box with RAM, so would that RAM be allright with I3 as mobo should be good.

Best thing is to check the memory support list for the motherboard,

GIGABYTE - GA-H55-UD3H (rev. 1.3)

and match it up from there. The support list isn't the be all and end all of what will work as there is just too many different makes and models, but it is a place to start.
