Is it that bad to connect IDE device while PC is on ? - Club MyCE

I will just assume you are, since you have not answered my question twice. DON'T DO IT WHEN THE COMPUTER IS ON.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64

Get a new cable as they are cheap and now wrapped to increase air flow. This style also available in 12" as well as well as master and slave styles. Hope it helps !
