    LCD Cleaning question

So I just picked up this LCD cleaning kit from a PC store right around where I work, and I was wondering, It says it contains isopropyl alcohol, would it be safe to clean my LCD monitor with this?

    I have a SAMSUNG P2070.

    Thanks.

you can actually 'roll your own' mix of lcd cleaning solution, using isopropyl alcohol and distilled water.

your cleaning kit should be fine, slackerITGuy

Don't forget to roll your own mix in a clean diaper. Not to get kinky but I like to slightly wet my diaper then wipe the monitor......please turn off and allow it to cool and wipe the monitor screen flip the diaper over to a dry side and polish dry. Then you can add a little more mix and wipe down the monitor case. Please allow a good 5-10 minutes for all the moisture to evaporate then power up. If you see sparks or smoke then you used too much moisture.....lol! Oh while your at it the keyboard and mouse will thank you for a rub a dub and then a damp once over on the desktop case as well....please allow a few minutes for evaporation and your good for several months or your next big spill !

i have used spit and a microfibre cloth for the last few years, my screen is clean and scratch free. Just dont do it straight after a drink of red wine!

But a nice Chardonnay or Reisling should be just fine.

I find that the microfiber towels leave a fine lint behind, not a big deal but I used them on my car and of you rub at all on the glass look at the fiber you leave behind it's amazing. Also hot tip all the towels you use for cars or any glass and suck never use fabric softeners also never machine wash or dry anything else with microfiber towels!
