WD External Hard disk Help
I have WD 320 Gig External.
Windows detect the drive and can be seen on my computer but their is no size on the drive.
Check properties no size.
I try to open but windows hangs.
What could be the problem of this?
The USB cable? or my drive is damage?
I also try insert to different computer and all the USB port front or back same result.

No, if you have been using the drive for almost a year, and your problem just started yesterday then there is something else causing the problem.
I also try insert to different computer and all the USB port front or back same result.
Do you have another USB cable that you can try, one you
know is good?
If you have been moving the HDD a lot, the connector may be bad.
Do not use one that is longer than the original or you can have a voltage drop. If you can not find one as long as the original shorter is better.
If you know the Model number you could download a diagnostic program to check the drive:
WD Support > Downloads > Select Product
Check that USB cable for now, and I'll get back to you.
