Guide to installing OS on new SSD
I have just purchased an Intel X25-M 80GB SSD and wish to do a clean install of Win7 Pro on it. I have 2 other 320GB HD in the same PC for data/backup. I was wondering if there was a tuturial or guidlines for the optimal way to set this up?
- Should the SSD be partitioned so there is a samll amount left unallocated as read somewhere this should be done?
- If there is space is it optimal to leave all the user data on the SSD along with the OS/programs or move the data off due to writing issues (don't know if these are stil lan issue with new SSDs)?
- If I move the data off to one of HD are there any other files that should also be moved, as read somewhere about some Windows files that should be moved to improve performance?
- Any other tips?
Thanks in advance
