    USB Power Issues

I have a Seagate external USB hard drive plugged in and even though I have changed the power options in Device manager for USB devices not to go into power saving I have noticed that each time I restart Windows the items have a tick in the box again for each USB Is there something else that I need to alter to stop it doing this?

I don't want my external hard drive to go to sleep as it takes it to long to start and I have stuff on there that I need to access regularly and a lot of the time it falls beyond power saving time.

No there is not. I have gone into control panel power options and made a customised power setting so I will check devices when I reboot.

On my Seagate external USB drive I can keep it a wake using Seagate software that came with it. It gives you the choice you are looking for. GL :) It's already installed on the unit when you bought it.
