    It was ironic but you had already beat me to the punch line LiquidSnak about suggesting the Seagate tools since many find them more flexible with various brands of drives.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Don't you love runtime errors?! Since you weren't able to find any Toshiba diagnostic programs that was a thought for use of the Seagate tools.

    Another program called HD TUNE however will run a scan for bad sectors on most brands without issues and simply marks them off as the graphical progress is displated rather then any log results. HD Tune website

    The latest version will even run on usb flash drives. Simply go for the 15 day trial and give that a look.

    I ran all the test and it couldnt find any errors. So what could be wrong?

    It sounds more like a software/registry type error then any hardware fault if it suddenly cleared up on you. Often when something is having a problem at startup and you restart a few or several times the driver being loaded sideways suddenly loads normally.

    I would certainly keep a watch out for the next few days to if the problem reappears. Try running chkdsk /r/f a few times as well as the sfc /scannow system file checker command. One of the two may be all that's needed to clean up a temp problem.

    Well I think this error message definetly says its a hardware error.

    Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: Drive Backup of (C:\).
    Error E7C3000F: Device \\?\Volume{c1d23603-8657-11df-aeb1-806e6f6e6963}\ cannot read 6168 sectors starting at LBA 60612328.

    Yes, it seems like you are having an intermittent hardware error.

    I recommend backing up files and trying a different drive.

    Well I cant really do that because I dont have a separate drive, but I am thinking of buying a 7200 RPM drive, so that would be when i do that, IF i do that (If not, its just going to wait till I save up enough for a gaming laptop).

    Edit: I just found the option to ignore bad sectors (Which is the problem) and it successfully backed up.
