    Looking at this recuva app

Does this require you to have the partition intact? i deleted the partition accidently in disk managment but have not formatted so the data is still there correct? and will this app find it?

I doubt you might find any success.

Since the entire partition has been deleted, I dont think these free softwares will do any magic. Your best bet is to take the PC to DriveSavers Data Recovery Services or similar companies and get the data recovered.

Does not cost any to try Recuva. But those recovery companies are not cheap.

Just make sure you do not write to the HDD in the meantime - e.g. download stuff. That may use the partition space because it is marked as "available".
