ALFA AWUS036H & Win7 64 bit... Anyone have this working?
OK heres the situation... No, not that fool from Jersey Shores... a hardware issue silly!
I bought a ALFA AWUS036H USB NIC for primarily wireless pentesting. My laptop is running this NIC fine in both Windows 7 32 bit and Linux. However, I cannnot get this to install on my desktop running Windows 7 64 bit. Now its not that big of a deal because I use the lappy for primary pentesting, but I hate it when I cannot get something to work! It bugs!
I have found several postings here, and on the web about this same issue... some ppl have had success by updating their BIOS, however that was only with ASUS motherboards, and Im running a Gigabyte motherboard with latest BIOS! I have tried to find latest drivers and found some with suppossed Win7x64 driver, listed as 6.1316.1209.2009 but I keep getting the error below...
Has anyone found a workaround or solution for this?
