western digital portable hard drive

hello iam hoping some body can help i need to but my western digital portable hard drive back to either FAT32 or default FAT so i can use it to back my playstation up

but every when i go to format it there is only 2 options wither exFAT or NTFS

does any body now a way of sorting this

1) Open a command window by going to Start, then Run and typing in CMD.

2) Now type in the following command at the prompt:

format /FS:FAT32 X:

where X: is the drive letter assigned to the external drive.

cheer ive give it a try it seems to do it but right at the end it says drivre is to big to format to FAT32 but it use to be that

any other ideas ???

OK, then use the WD recommended method and the WD utility.

Download WD Support > Downloads > Select Product
