Windows 7: Intex CMI-8738 6ch Sound Card

Im having problems with my newly bought sound card. I tried to use it on Camfrog but my friends told me to volume up my mic. But as i can see, all volumes were on 100%. If I switch on the Mic Boost, they say it's static. Plus, they hear an unusual sound from my mic even when I'm not using it, (like buzzing sound). Playing music has no problem, just the microphone. Can somebody help me with this?

Add:

And oh, the packaging says it has "Microphone echo and Karaoke ascending/descending key effects" which I cannot find.

Have you installed the drivers that came with the card, or are you running it off of just windows drivers?
