If it works for you, that's great , however if someone had a case with worse airflow, this might very well make their CPU overheat. I'm fairly sure that if you changed from your current configuration to a push/pull configuration, your temperatures would get even better!

That's running pretty freaking cool for now... don't really think turning the fan around for "push pull" would improve it by much but if you do get around to changing it let us know how much it drops the temps please... I recently got one of those 212+ models for my cpu but it doesn't run anywhere near as cool as yours and I do have it setup for push pull but I'm running a different CPU and used the supplied thermal paste rather then buying something better though i may go back in later if I decide to play around with overclocking... Even at boot I'm at 26C and during stress test it got around 60C but never exceeded that for the four hours I kept an eye on it but after that I'm uncertain though I ran the test for nearly 12 hours after unlocking the fourth core

I get idle core temps from 27 to 32 for highest core, and max temps about 52. Each persons temps will vary, and yours are no problem. And if Solarstarshines is getting 16c, push/pull, smush/pull, I'd leave it be

I think you can trust Core Temp. I have it, but use Real Temp mostly (it's for Intel). But they give comparable results, and I know I can trust Real Temp.
