    Wireless access point problem?


    I have a Netgearwg602 and I can't get to the internet with it. I tried reaching from a wireless device(Nintendo DS lite) and it said that there is No IP address or no DHCP server on it. I tried a lot of things, but nothing is working. Please help?

    Your Netgear WG602 is only an Access Point, it has no router or DHCP abilities. It can also function as a bridge or a repeater as well!

    Is the WG602 wired into a router?

    I have a cable modem that has an ISP on it and an ethernet cable port with isin't there a way to get the AP to work with the modem?

    Upon further review it appears you can use static IPs in your wireless client. The AP plugs into your modem after you follow the instructions and connect the PC straight to the AP first to get it all configured. Here is the manual, instructions start at chapter 3...
