Is it possibly to modify my M11X?

    Hey guys,

Recently i bought my alienware m11x, and i´m pretty satisfied with it.
But i do think it misses that last bit of performence, and i was wandering is it possibly to put different hardware into my alienware m11x? (laptop).

    Peace, SilentSunday

anything is possible... do you want to void your warranty? what performance are you looking to gain? why did you buy a laptop?

usually with laptops its hard to upgrade because of the different layout and small compact space,
i think you would also void the warranty as said above

laptops are generally limited in their upgrade options.

most of the time, all you can do is add ram and swap out the hard-drive. generally speaking, anything else is complicated and expensive.

an ssd would certainly make windows and programs load and respond faster, but won't give you more fps in games (if that's what you want).

As this is a laptop, the answer is no. Laptop cases are typically designed to hold specific motherboards.

speak to whoever you bought the laptop from, they would know more about the specifics of your particular machine.
