Windows 7: Spanned Hard Drives & Format

Spanned Hard Drives & Format

Just a quick question: I have one 1TB drive running Windows 7, and I spanned three 500GB drives to have a 1.5TB backup disk. I'm wanting to reformat my main drive and reinstall Windows 7, but I want to make sure that I'll still have access to my other volume of 3 drives after the format. (I'm using it to back up all my data.)

Sorry, I'm a bit trigger-shy since I reinstalled Windows XP for my sister two years ago and had no idea that I was forever ruining her access to the folders of financial info she had encrypted (!).

Thanks!
