(Code 24) - Power Controll Error - Help

    (Code 24) - Power Controll Error - Help


    Hey all, I have this problem and get this
    "This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)"

    I tryed going to drivers and it says under "Current Status" saysStatus: Stoped and I try clicking Start but gives me yet another Error - "The system encountered the following error while attempting to start the service - The system cannot find the file specified"

    any help welcome, my power supply is - Antec true power quattro 1200 watt

    Take a look in Device Manager and see if your device is listed. Do you know what device the message is referring to?

    Thanks for the reply and yes it shows up in device manager but has the triangle with the ! in it and next to the Power Controll

    Edit - Oh and its with in the device manager as in "None-Plug and Play Drivers"

    Can you provide a screen capture of this?

    (oh, and it's "non-plug and play", but not a big deal at all)

    I think if you uninstall this program, the problem may resolve itself. If it does, there are alternatives to play blu ray.
