hi thought i would post this link for a program that gives you details for the ram. RAMMON by pasmark choose 32BIT download

RAMMon is an easy to use Windows based application that allows users to quickly retrieve the Serial Presence Detect (SPD) data from their RAM modules. It will allow users to identify a multitude of attributes, of which, includes the manufacturer, the clockspeed and other data of their DDR2, DDR3, XMP and EPP memory devices and even some older memory types. It uses SysInfo DLL SDK to gather the SPD attributes from RAM devices. This information provides a snapshot of the available data for each RAM module installed on the system.

PassMark RAMMon - Identify RAM type, speed & memory timings

Also could you post a pic from resmon and we can see what windows has allocated your ram to

    1. type resmon in start menu search box
    2. enter on keyboard
    3. left hand pane in results click on resmon
    4. click on Memory in the top tab bar

Using google, i found that my intel HD(r) graphics chipset is using 1GB of
ram for rendering. However, most of the time I am using my NVIDIA graphics
card installed in my laptop. So i don't see why my intel card still needs
1GB RAM when it's not being used? Isn't there any chance I can temporarily
get that 1GB ram back when using my NVIDIA card and returning it to my Intel
    when it's no longer used?
