Troyka Combox

Troyka Combox
I'm getting a new computer with windows 7 very soon, and I'm going to have 2 different hard drives for it, one for work and one for gaming. Instead of switching hard drives every time, I was going to use a Troyka Combox, but I'm not sure if it will work with windows 7 because It's getting old now. I used it with my previous windows XP computer, and it works with Linux Ubuntu, and that's all I've used it with so far. If anyone could tell me if it works, it would be great.
Thanks!

why not set up a dual-boot system and select an os at boot-up?
you may want to change your os in the forum too - it's not funny nor clever.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm already going to use dual boot to select between windows 7 and Ubuntu, so I can use it to surf because it's harder to infect and I like the system a lot.

well, how about a triple-boot?
- ubuntu
- boring work windows
- über-tweaked gaming windows (although 7 is pretty much tweaked by default anyhow)
in no particular order...i'm sure grub (or whatever) can handle it.
(well done changing your os in forum profile!)

Actually, I need my games on a separate hard drive, because the first one is actually paid for by where I work, and I'm not allowed games on it. That's why I need the other hard drive, because that way it's considered a different computer.

you can still triple-boot from as many drives as you want.
...or maybe i've misunderstood your post.
in the same computer, you want two drives? one with windows and linux, the other with a windows games installation? it can be made to work whatever combination you wish...

That's how I would like it to work. I know that I could just manually switch hard drives, but I would prefer to be able to use something like my current combox for switching them, and I was looking for something like it that can be used for windows 7.

if you want it to work with ubuntu, then i think grub is the way to go.
i'm no grub expert, but i'm sure it can manage a triple-boot dual-drive scenario.
other forum members would be able to help if you need further assistance.
