USB Problem - device ejects itself, interuption while copying etc.

Hi guys i have been having an issue with a few storage devices recently. Two flashdisks(same brand) and my phone(samsung monte). Basically im experiencing problems while copying data off of these devices. When using the flash disks they just eject them selves interrupting the copying process and then a few seconds later the device it read again and the autorun pops up as if i have reinserted it(note: the usb device remains in my pc untouched.) My phone is a similar story, i receive an error and i have to manually disconnect and reconnect to read the device again. these devices have been tested and confirmed working in other pc's. My external hdd works fine as well as my other flashdisk. What i have done:

    • Reinstalling usb drivers etc.
    • tried a variety of ports
    • after much frustration i performed a clean install

I dont know if this problem has been present since i bought the pc a month or two ago as my externall hdd is what i mainly use.

    Specs:

    • Win 7 Ultimate 32bit
    • intel i3 on foxconn h55mxv board

    Hope you guys can help!

May be an issue with the USB ports not giving enough juice. You've had these work successfully on other computers, right? In that case I'd suggest RMAing the faulty board.

You could also look at your PSU (power supply)

If you can't test it you might have to try another one, but it does sound like the board isn't getting enough power to the USB ports.

I concur that the USB ports are probably not getting/putting out enough power. Did you buy the PC whole and from a store?
