Saitek Eclipse II + Windows 7 = No Volume Control

    Hello windows 7 fellas.
    I've got a problem!
My volume control on my keyboard Saitek Eclipse II wont work on my windows 7 x64.
It worked fine with windows vista!
Well, to the point, does somebody know how to solve this problem?

    Thanx in advance!!
    /Emma.

I have the same problem, except that it does (though rarely) work. The play/pause, next and previous buttons work fine but the volume and mute buttons don't.

Just in case this works for you:

Quick and Dirty fix to the Saitek Eclipse volume keys problem. - The Official Saitek Forum

also, be sure to follow the instructions on the linked site, and have it execute on startup...

Have you tried uninstalling and deleting the windows driver for the keyboard, then "scan for hardware changes" under device manager? I uninstall/reinstalled my eclipse driver and it brought back the function keys.

    ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/fu...board64Bit.exe

It's for the eclipse III, but it might be worth a try.

Go to Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services. Find "Human Interface Device Access" and turn it to "Automatic". Then right click on it and press start!
