Get ready to say goodbye to analog display connectivity as several major tech companies have banded together to stop supporting LVDS in 2013 and VGA in 2015.

It was already evident that the old analog vga type connector is rather obsolete to anyone running a new system with an HD video card to start with. Most new lcds still see the two HD and standard vga ports however at present. Yet the standard vga in still in regular use by many at the same time running not always the old stuff.

The leading companies however are now focusing on HD and 3D.
