    For one you do not buy an SSD from Sony. You do not know what you get and they charge an arm and a leg. Second you do not go for 500GBs - that is expensive. But a nice 120GB SSD will be less than $200 when on sale. Here is one for the "normal" price: Newegg.com - OCZ Vertex 2 OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

    Yeah Ebay is the only place selling it at this price, on Dell's website it's almost double in money, and the specs aren't even the same, plus Dell took out the 1080p option from this laptop a couple days ago

    That works. But I find it very expensive for an i5 CPU in a 14" laptop. I can get an i7 with a super graphics card in a 15" for less money. The people who were depleting their stock must have been impressed by the price reduction.
