Windows 7 - Long Delay loading Windows 7 install disc

I have a very long delay from even starting the menu, where you choose language and etc. and so with the install menu. I don't know what have happened, but I have started to experience 2 problems.
1. My DVD drive makes a high pitch sound when burning, and it won't even finish the burning proces.
2. My Harddisk have become really slow lately, so I did a "Write Zero". DIdn't fix the DVD Drive problem :/

My Setup is barely 2 months old, and (I think) a high-end setup.

AMD Phenom Black Edition II X4 965 (3,4Ghz)
ATI Radeon HD 5870 Sapphire (1GB)
500GB 10000RPM Harddisk
4GB Mushkin (6-6-6-18) 1600Mhz
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H Rev. 2.0
LG (Can't remember model number).

Confusion. Are you installing Windows 7? If so, why are you burning a disk?

Or are you trying to do a repair from the install disk? Still, why are you burning a disk?

Or are you reformatting your pc for a new install?

For the burning confusion; I tried to burn a file on a DVD, that's when I noticed the high-pitch problem, to make it simple: I have several problems.
1. My DVD-drive makes a very high-pitch sound, though it's only 2 months old.
2. My DVD-drive takes a lot amount of time to load the described menus.
3. My Harddisk is slow, though it's a problem I can solve by formatting (which I did).
My setup is 2 months old.

This is how i found out.
Problem 1. I was burning a random ISO file.
Problem 2. When I did the reformat for problem 3, and when I booted from the disc again to see, if the problem had disappeared.
Problem 3. My Harddisk was taking insanely amount of time to open various programs.

Edit: When I was burning the ISO in ImgBurner, it was unable to finish.

It sounds like a nice setup. Your dvd drive is probably failing. The high-pitched sound, along with burning problems would indicate this. Since it's two-months old, I would RMA the drive. Bad hardware never gets better.
