send button not working on Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 3000

    Windows 7 and Outlook 2007
The send button does not send the e-mail in Outlook 2007.
I have Intelli Type Pro 8 software loaded on my computer which I downloaded from Microsoft support.

I don't know how to go to Microsoft direct to get support for this keyboard which I only purchased 3 days ago.

    Help.

Load up your IntelliType software and check to see what the button is programmed to do, exactly. If it doesn't seem to be working and it's set to Send an Email Message, customize that button with a macro. Create a new macro that does "CTRL+ENTER" (Just hit CTRL+ENTER as if you would when you are ready to send the email and it'll do what it needs to notate it). Give that a shot.

    If not: Microsoft Support: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/de...direct=1&sd=gn

Thanks, I got it fixed by going back and redoing the send command button. I guess it was done improperly.
    Thanks,

Nope, I just thought I had it still does not work BUT it works in Windows Live Mail which I prefer not to use.

Could someone please give me the patch to send an e-mail in Office Outlook 2007 because if I had that I probaboly could reconfigure it to work because I have configured the 5 unconfigured buttons to open up certain programs on my computer.

I mean the path such as www.microsoftofficeoutlook2007.send etc......................

Just build a macro with your keyboard's software to do CTRL+Enter when you hit that button. CTRL+Enter is the shortcut combo to send an email in Outlook.

This is how I do it:

    1. Go to Start > All Programs > Microsoft Keyboard > Microsoft Keyboard.

    2. Scroll down a ways and you should see the SEND key listed.

    3. Click the Assign/Manage Macro button and a new window will open

    4. Give your macro a name if you wish and click inside the macro area. Press Ctrl+Enter and watch it build.

    5. Hit OK and your macro should now be assigned. Click OK and life is good!

    Any questions?

PS: let me know if you can't see the images.

Jelyman, thanks for the instructions. Even though I could not open the images since they were just an X, I went by the instructions and was able to assign the control+enter macro to the send key.

    You are the MAN.

Thanks a million for something I have tried to find out how to do for 3 days.

    On a scale from 1 to 10, I rate you a 10+
