Advise on setting up a Raid 5 array

I am wanting to set up a raid 5 array on a working windows 7 (64) bit (premium) system. I have purchased 3 3TB hitachi 7200 SATA II identical drives, and had intended on using the motherboard BIOS to raid them in a raid 5 configuration until I found out that the motherboard was incapable of it, and even if it was, it would be inefficient at doing so.

I want advise on what raid controller card would be a good one to purchase that would not break my pocket book. Yes, I know I should be running server software, but I am just using this as a back up devise, and other drives in the system are used for file sharing, and operating system.

Thank you in advance, and have a Merry Christmas,
