    try it on another rig if it is still failing take the card back and have them test it in front of you

    It's not actually failing at any point, It's just getting really hot, Still running smoothly though.

    well if it isnt crashing Bsod's and rebooting out of random then i would say let it be and not worry could be much worst

    failed boots and shotty game performance also not to mention the constant shut down from a overheating card

    Nvidia: GeForce GTX 480 Was Designed to Run Hot

    this should help you understand more for this is normal with these cards 470 480 gtx

    Depending on which connectors I put where in my sli cards they idle either around 37 to 40 or in the 50's
