I don't mean to be cruel but I saw a similar Y tube video like this on fixing the HDD. Gullible, I watched until the last 10 seconds - "now for the fix" and a big wrench came out and smashed the disk.

Apart from the freezer job (which I haven't seen), 2 other ways of attempting to recover bad disks that I've seen:
1) Replace the control circuit board if HDD won't spin up.
2) For stuck heads. Take the HDD out of the PC (lid on!).Hold it with both hands and rotate clockwise & anticlockwise in a horizontal plane. No banging of the disk!

Oh, and my understanding is that the click of death isn't the occassional clicking but the regular click, click, click........at least I hope so.
