    ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 & 920...with H50

OK, I got an H50 today. What should I run my CPU at folks?

PS: Nothing on my 3x2g Corsair 6gigs of 1066mhz DDR3s... Is that important?

Well as high as it can safely go, honestly. With that cooler, you could hit the 4ghz barrier easily. You'll need to tweak voltages though, I think, at that clock speed.

    Take a look at this thread on Overclock.net: i7 920 overclocking thread - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

    Thanks...

Thanks man. I appreciate the help. I was considering 3.8-4Ghz, but from what I understand, you have to tweak the memory along with the CPU (bump up the speed from the standard 1066Mhz to match the CPU, which might blow out my Corsair memory), and I didn't bother to buy heat sync for them. They're already spaced out every other slot, so unless I buy another 3 modules, I'm just gonna do it as-is. [fingers crossed]

    Also, if anybody knows:
    • What the best BIOS rev., Voltage and Settings to run are with this P6T Deluxe V2 and my equipment (see specs)
    • Whether or not to install the special little ASUS MB-mounted fan that comes with the MB (I'm gonna do it, just in case)
    • How to deal with my tower (sorry, I don't know the model or manufacturer). It has a side vent and a little plastic cylinder over the CPU to vent air with a conventional fan/heat sync (is that necessary or even a good idea to use now?) and I'm not sure if the huge H50 radiator/fan will fit... Should I just get a new box? And if so, what would you all recommend for this setup? (see specs)

    Thanks Again All!
