    "iPod Has Malfunctioned"


    This Is An iPod Touch 1st Generation when I plug It In It Does Not Recognize it.. Nor Does The iPod Recognize The Computer. I Tried Alll The Usb Ports... Here Are Some Of The Pictures..

    Hi Scooter,

    Its the dock connector part of the usb cable broken?, even if one pin iin the dock connectior is broken it will malfunction.

    No, Buddy. Infact This Is My Friends iPod Touch... And He Wants Me To Put All 895 Songs From my iTunes On his... (Too Much Beetles Crap lol) But I have A iPod Video 5th Generation iPod And Mine Works Fine.. :) I Checked The Amp Port In His .. And The Slot Looks Fine. It Recognized Mine... But Does Not His.

    Apple has a support page on why the ipod touch is not being detected but why the ipod video is.
